Engaged with a variety of businesses / startups assessing needs and implemented a plan of action to: modernize / improve overall user experience (UX), update back-end frameworks, front-end user interface (UI) redesign, improve call-to-action (CTA) areas, restyle, integrate in social media space, improve back-end security, optimize performance, and in some cases build brand new platforms.
Reassigned out-of-date web properties of various clientele and upgraded to a modern stack. Revamped / optimized all existing marketing material assets utilizing WP-CMS, custom themes, plugins, social media integration, responsive re-design of the front-end, CSS recode / redesign, optimization, relaunch. Other clients presented pure static web properties requesting CMS integration. This process entailed complete front-end / back-end rebuilds from the ground up, also provided client training on how to use CMS.

Joined forces with a diverse range of clients in the role of web redesign / research, prototype comp design, web exporting, front-end coding and development. Also tasked with development testing / debugging.
A range of clientele requested their web platforms to be more modern, easier to read and understand and create a streamlined UI that didn’t look “dated”. This effort required analyzing current web properties, providing assessments / recommendations, developing wireframes, comps, style sheets, and working models to review. This approach enabled clients to review, assess, and provide insight in real-time. Once a project was approved the web properties were launched. Training on CMS platforms were provided in a one-on-one review post-launch.

Icon Designer ~ Microsoft (2011) |
Helped develop and design the newly adopted Metro icon library for the Microsoft VISIO / Sharepoint software suite. The purpose of this effort was to reinvigorate the previous generation of iconography and create a new suite of modern icons that better represent the company vision and next generation of technology.
Collaborated on a ten person team headed by a project manager to redesign the entire icon suite for the software division of Sharepoint. Tasks included: conceptual sketches / design concepts, mood boards, previous icon library referencing, strategy sessions, internal review sessions, ideation, vector design, final draft review and selection.

As a safety visual company, Clarion needed their marketing, design, and overall visualization materials to not only abide by their in-house safety visual system, they also needed to comply with ISO 9001 standards and have them web-ready. I was tasked to facilitate this effort with regard to implementing existing marketing materials and translate them for dual-use on the web. The company tasked me with redesigning their online presence in both website and social media fronts.
Create web material / assets based on in-house print materials while complying with ISO 9001 standards. Optimize for the new platform utilizing WP-CMS, custom themes, social media integration, responsive re-design of the front-end, and take all the previous static properties and integrate into a content management systems and provide training for the internal staff to update content.
